This is a husband and wife culinary team. Chef Daniel Caron, bringing the Savory aspect of cooking to the restaurant and Pastry Chef Tammy Deline bringing in the sweet side.

Daniel and Tammy decided to open their own restaurant in October 2010, after over twenty years of experience each working and managing kitchens across Canada.

The 2 Chefs met while both apprenticing and completed chefs training in Ottawa at The Chateau Laurier. They crossed Canada with CP Hotels (now Fairmont) and were employed at Banff Springs Hotel . Daniel and Tammy then moved to Vancouver where they branched out separately to gain more experience in their culinary field. Daniel stayed with CP Hotels and worked at the Waterfront Centre Hotel. He then helped open the Northview Golf and Country Club and Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club then he was off to the prestigious Vancouver Club for a few years.

Tammy went off to work as Pastry Chef for Van den Bosch Bakery, Pastry Chef for Delta Pacific in Richmond, Pastry Chef Bread Garden Commisary Kitchen, Pastry Chef Casa del Pane Bakery in Port Moody.

Having started a family both chefs wanted to slow down lifes pace. Daniel was offered a job in Nanaimo as Chef of the Wesley Street Café and once seeing Nanaimo couldn't resist the move. After quite a long stint at the Wesley Street Daniel moved on to the Urban Beet Food Co. Now on the Island Tammy was hired to help open Pacific Shores Resort and Spa. She then moved on to Carrot on the Run and most recently was the Pastry Chef at the Urban Beet Food Co. in Nanaimo were she assisted owners in opening the restaurant and stayed on for 2 years.
